OH MY WORD where do I start??? So this was my last read of 2016, and why it took me so long to read this??? So a girl I trust completely when it comes to good books knew I was in a horrible book funk… want something  funny she said… HELL YES. Want something sexy she also said…HELL FUCKING YES!!! Want something that doesn’t have a dumb plot twist at 85%  and it just has a fresh feel to it she finally said… PLEASE!!! And thats when I picked this one up.

This is a college romance but also new adult. New Adult is becoming one of those genres that is becoming uninteresting to me, and college romances always become borderline cheese or total cheese. Not this one!!! This was fresh, humorous, witty, fun, sexy and most importantly not drama after drama on each page. Now I love a bit of drama but not OTT. This had the perfect mix of fun and drama.

Drew… OH MY GOD. Are the first three words that spring to mind. This man is not your usual jock. Yes he’s popular amongst his friends, and the ladies also. Yes he’s sex on a stick. But what made him different is he was all those things and more!!!  He was so romantic it made me want to cry, and swoon in equal measures. He had feelings for Anna right from the beginning, and he was more than happy to share what he felt, with Anna, and with the world.

Anna. Oh, Anna. I loved this heroine, but my god she made me want to pull my hair out in frustration. In a twist of a storyline, it was actually the heroine who wanted just a hook up, with no feelings involved, and that included no kissing on the lips. In one breath, it was refreshing to see a female like that, but then you meet Drew, and you’re dying inside because she won’t just kiss him!!!!! LOL. But what did I love about Anna? Well she herself was refreshing. She was pretty smart, she was absolutely hilarious, and for the most part you could understand her reservations about drew, because it was more about herself than him. And when her and Drew opened up to each other properly, god it was beautiful.

I realise I may have talked and talked in this review, but this book made me feel so many things. I knew i would enjoy this, but I underestimated just how brilliant this book would be. It’s a story that you can enjoy on a rainy day, and it is definitely one I will be re reading when I want a feel good story, that isn’t cheesy. This has a hint of insta love, but it worked, because they knew each other a while, and the way everything flowed was brilliant. Kristen can write a good old fight between the hero and heroine too. The kind of fights so many couples would have experienced so it just made it feel even more real. Ladies, this is a total MUST READ!!!!
