This series! This series is literally so damn good. This picks up right after where Best Laid Plans ended. Marc fucked up and Lily… well it changed her. For better or for worse? I’ll let you decide that.
Marc… he is literally the best mercenary you will ever meet! He’s ruthless… funny… sarcastic… a right prick sometimes but God love him. I mean seriously Marc is not Marcelle without being all of those things. He isn’t your knight in shining armour, but you can bet your life that he’ll have your back regardless, and that’s all we want in a man right?
Lily damn they say redheads are fiery and she lived up to that and more. She was such a kicks heroine. I almost always get annoyed at some point with another, but not with Lily. Yes, she probably droned on a little with what Marc did, but Lily wouldn’t be Lily without a reaction. She came back with a vengeance. She was quicker, smarter, a better fighter than she was in book one.
And we cannot forget about Kingsley, damn it Stylo I demand he has his own book!!!! Who is he deep inside and where can i find one? His relationship with Lily melted my heart and made me laugh, and made me emotional too. Style has areal knack of making you fall for the secondary character as much as the first!!!! And that is another reason why her books are so special.
